It might be tempting to create a launch product that covers the basic functionality for the entire target market and leave the &#8222;luxury&#8220; functions and features until later. This is the approach illustrated on the left of the title image. This would be a mistake, because it takes too long and at best creates marginally satisfied customers, who are of no help to a beginning startup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Instead, startups concentrate on their <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Early_adopter\">Early Adopters<\/a>, and they build a launch product that delights them. This is the approach shown on the right side of the image. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><i>It\u2019s better to build something that a small number of users love than a large number of users like.<\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">The launch product ignores the needs of most of the market, but it provides a perfect experience for their first customer segment, who become fans.
